The Future for the Children Association implements the second module of “Working with the Media”

In a series of workshops, the Association and the media representatives in the city will develop common rules for work and coordination among themselves and will implement a joint campaign to support children at risk in the municipality.

The association organizes the second educational module set up in the “Working with the Media” activity under the “Change in Action” project. As a follow-up to the working meeting on “Working together for the children of Kazanlak”, the two target groups had the task of developing a strategy for the campaign to be implemented by them in June 2015.

The event was held in the organization. The meeting was attended by Maria Gineva, Executive Director of the Future for the Children Association, coordinators of the Center for Work with Volunteers at the organization, communications and PR specialist, representatives of local, regional and national media.

We hope, through a series of meetings, to reach a common goal on which we can work together to identify more unconventional approaches to raise public awareness of a problem that exists in children in our municipality and to create some coordination with each other.

The second module included more practical tasks for group work. These activities help us to realize opportunities and tackle risks and threats. The result was to choose several specific activities to be accepted by all participants.

In the second part, more attention was paid to generating ideas and campaign proposals – messages, guidelines, scope, additional resources, scale, purpose, target groups; writing an action strategy with clearly defined roles and tasks for all participants.

The last module of “Work with the media” will be the implementation of the campaign to support the fight against child begging.
