Participation of the “Future for Children” Association at a regional meeting under the project “The Voice of Bulgarian Children”

On 4th October 2017 in Bourgas Hotel, Burgas  regional meeting for exchange of experience in the field of children’s politics was held. The aim of the meeting was to establish contacts and exchange experience among key stakeholders in the formation and implementation of child policies in the South-East region of Bulgaria. Maria Gineva, Executive Director of Future for Children Association, joined the meeting presenting an analysis of the current state of child policy, the problems that exist and the development of good practices in the South East region.

Representatives of local authorities, non-governmental organizations, schools, etc. were  invited to the meeting. During the meeting, work was done to create a network of people in leadership positions in the legislative, executive and local authorities and the non-governmental sector to work purposefully to implement effective children’s policies.

The meeting for the exchange of experience took place within the project The Voice of the Bulgarian Children, which is realized by the Bulgarian School of Politics, Dimitar Panitza, with the expert assistance of the National Network for Children. The project is being funded by the Oak Foundation.
