Together for the children

The main objective of the Center for Community Support is to improve the quality of life of children and families at risk by providing quality social services that meet their needs and are accessible to every child and its family. The main priority in the work of the specialized team is prevention of child abandonment, work with children with challenging behavior, prevention of aggressive behavior and dropping out of school.

The Center works to:

• Prevent child abandonment and placement in a specialized institution;
• Prevent aggressive behavior and dropping out of school;
• Support the closure of large orphanages and reintegration of children;
• Train in skills for independent living and social integration of children from institutions;
• Counsel and support  families at risk;
• Support foster parents and adoptive families;
• Counsel and support children with behavioral problems and manifestations;
• Assess and support children and young people with special needs and their families
