Future for the Children Association

Since its inception in 2003, the organization has been working to support children and young people with disabilities. After a study and analysis of the situation, it was reported that the goals set in the first strategy of the organization were fulfilled. Due to the long and hard work of founders and followers, a supportive environment for children and young people with disabilities and their families was created in Kazanlak through openings in social services and the implementation of social inclusion projects. Over time, new users – children from different vulnerable groups and their families – have begun to participate in the activities and projects of the association. At the end of 2014, the decision of the Stara Zagora Regional Court was issued, according to which the name, structure, goals and vision of the organization changed. From the beginning of 2015, the Association was officially registered in all registers as “Future for the Children” NGO.

Mission – The mission of the Future for the Children Association is to support children at risk and their families by providing them with services and activities to develop opportunities, social inclusion and welfare.

The organization is a partner of Kazanlak municipality in the realization of the Strategy for development of social services in 2011-2016 dealing with areas in which children are at risk.

Future for the Children Association is a provider of social services “Center for Community Support” and “Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration” for the municipality of Kazanlak. The services are state delegated activities and are assigned to management by the municipality of Kazanlak.

Since 2010, the Association is a member of the National Network of Children, and since 2013 is also a member of the Network’s Management Board. Since 2014, Future for the Children Association is a member of the National Alliance for Volunteer Work.
